UNIKA Soegijapranata Information Systems Students Participate in The Third Conference on Digital Humanities (CoDH, 2024)

Semarang, – Students of the Information Systems Study Program at Soegijapranata Catholic University (UNIKA) have again made an achievement by participating in The Third Conference on Digital Humanities (CoDH, 2024) on October 30 – November 1, 2024. This international conference was held to bring together academics, researchers, and practitioners from various disciplines to discuss various issues related to digital humanities and the application of technology in culture and education.

The following UNIKA Soegijapranata students presented their research at this conference:

1. Justine Hezekiel Topic: Enhancing Citizen Wellbeing through Interactivity in Semarang Virtual Assistant (SAVIRA) Justine presented the development of an interactive virtual assistant called SAVIRA, which aims to improve the welfare of the Semarang community through technological innovation. This research was supervised by Prof. Ridwan Sanjaya .


2. Marilyn Jasmine Topic: Implementation of Chatbot to Improve Service in Purchasing Batik Marilyn discusses the implementation of chatbot to improve batik purchasing service, offering innovative solutions in accelerating the transaction process and improving customer experience. This research was supervised by Cahyo Nugroho and Hendra Prasetya .


3. Felix Wiranata Topic: Designing Hologram-based Virtual Assistant for Student Organization Activities Felix presented the design of a hologram-based virtual assistant designed to support student organization activities, with a focus on improving efficiency and communication. This research was assisted by Bernardinus Harnadi .


4. Johanes Arya Topic: Image Processing on Plastic Bottle Reverse Vending Machine to Enhance Community Plastic Waste Management Johanes highlights the use of image processing on plastic bottle reverse vending machines to help community plastic waste management. This research was supervised by Ridwan Sanjaya , Freddy Koeswoyo , and Andre Kurniawan Pamuji .


5. Oktavius ​​Theo Topic: The Use of SalesMania to Enhance Sales Team Performance and Support Sustainable Development Oktavius ​​discusses the use of SalesMania as a platform to enhance sales team performance while supporting sustainable development goals. This research was supervised by Andre Kurniawan Pamuji and Stefany Inggrid .
