Pada tanggal 26 November 2024, Fakultas Ilmu Komputer Universitas Katolik Soegijapranata menyelenggarakan Internship Fair 2024 di Ruang Theater Gedung Thomas Aquinas. Acara ini menjadi ajang yang dinantikan oleh mahasiswa untuk mendapatkan wawasan langsung dari sembilan perusahaan terkemuka yang bergerak di berbagai bidang teknologi informasi, mulai dari pengembangan perangkat lunak hingga solusi digital yang inovatif. Internship Fair ini bertujuan untuk mempertemukan mahasiswa dengan perusahaan yang menawarkan pengalaman kerja nyata, sekaligus membuka peluang karier di masa depan.

1. PT. Mitra Kasih Perkasa (MKP)
As a provider of traffic intelligence solutions and digital payment systems, MKP has been a pioneer in developing tap-in tap-out systems for public transportation and tourism. The event was attended by students of the Faculty of Computer Science consisting of the Information Systems and Informatics Engineering Study Programs who enthusiastically listened to presentations from participating companies. Each company not only introduced its products and technologies, but also provided insight into the industrial work process and internship opportunities.
"The 2024 Internship Fair is real evidence of the Faculty of Computer Science's commitment to preparing students to enter the world of work with direct experience and insight from professionals in the technology industry," said the Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science, Prof. Ridwan Sanjaya.
With the support of partner companies, the Faculty of Computer Science hopes that this event can be the first step for students to explore their potential in developing information technology, both in the backend and frontend fields. This Internship Fair is expected to become a routine agenda that strengthens collaboration between the academic world and industry.
