One of them, Siega (Information Systems, E-Commerce, Game Technology, Accounting & Information Systems) Unika held a seminar entitled Development of Unlimited Reality in the World of Business, Education and Sports.
The digital seminar was held in the Theater Room, Thomas Aquinas Building, 3rd Floor, Campus 1 Soegijapranata Catholic University, Bendan on Thursday (4/5/2023).
The head of the lecturer representative committee, Stephani Inggrit Swastini Dewi, explained that Unika had collaborated a lot with the Semarang City Government.
One of the newest ones is that SiegaUnika has participated in presenting the work of its students from the Information Systems Study Program in the Google Day activity. Also a lot of research related to Semarang City Government.
"With the Archives and Libraries Service (Arpus) we will also create a metaverse for them, to digitize libraries so that people are more interested," he said.
Stephani hopes that the cooperative relationship with the City Government can continue to run well.
"There could be more opportunities to conduct a lot of helpful research," he added.
The Siega Unika Seminar raised the theme of digitization, this seminar invited two Siega Unika alumni as resource persons.
Namely Maria Kineta, who is part of the Siega lecturer project related to the metaverse of Semarang City public facilities and the metaverse of Batik Lasem, Rembang.

SIEGA Unika Holds Semarang “Smart City” Contribution Seminar
The Semarang City Government (Pemkot) together with all elements of society, including educational institutions, held a series of seminars, in a series of celebrations for the 476th anniversary of the City of Semarang, last Tuesday 2 May 2023. With the theme of digitization, this seminar invited two SIEGA alumni (Information Systems, E-Commerce, Game Technology Accounting and Information Systems), another name from the Unika Information Systems Study Program as resource persons. The two sources, namely Maria Kineta SKom and Caesarius M SKom.
Maria is a member of the SIEGA lecturer project related to the metaverse of Semarang City public facilities, and the metaverse of Batik Lasem Rembang. Meanwhile, Caesarius, developed a new experience for cycling at home using Oculus.
Apart from that, a SIEGA Unika student who also joined the SIEGA lecturer's Kedaireka project related to the creation of the Batik Lasem Rembang metaverse, Caren Lorenza, was also presented as a guest speaker.
Lecturer Representative Committee Chair Stephani Inggrit Swastini Dewi SKom MBA explained that Soegijapranata Catholic University (SCU) had also collaborated a lot with the Semarang City Government.
